1/8” Birch Veneer Plywood | 8 x 8
Día de los Muertos is a beautiful Mexican tradition; a time to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us. Sugar skulls are often used to symbolize those who have passed on and serve as a reminder that life on Earth is short and must be lived to the fullest.
These stunning 7"x7" pieces feature a pair of intricate sugar skulls, laser-engraved for exact precision on 1/8" birch veneer plywood canvases. The entire design is finished in a dramatic jet black, creating a powerful, high-contrast effect.
Each piece is meticulously prepped, sealed, and encased in a custom-made 1"x1" pine frame, hand-painted jet black to flawlessly match the artwork. The back is professionally completed with a custom-cut dust-cover and protective bumpers, ensuring the art is ready to hang.
Finally, the signed canvases are finished with a coat of high-gloss epoxy resin, creating a durable, glass-like depth that dramatically enhances the engraved detail.
This piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) signed by the artist.
